Ian joined the Police Force in 1962 and on his retirement entered the Retail Food Industry as Security Manager/ Training Officer.
He became a Tenant of Derby Homes in 2003 and shortly after was invited to attend a Tenant Panel Meeting which aroused his interest in Derby Homes and the desire to provide well maintained quality housing for tenants. Since that time Ian has been a voluntary member of the Local Housing Board (South), the City Board and Operational Board, which he found to be an interesting and worthwhile journey.
Having been appointed to the Main Board Ian is committed to continuing this journey with a view to ensuring that the desire for well maintained quality housing is maintained.
