Recently retired from the Police Service, Mick was elected as a Councillor for Oakwood Ward in May 2010 and from the time of his appointment has taken a keen interest in the services of Derby Homes. Mick states, ‘taking a local view, Oakwood ward encompasses a considerable area of housing managed by Derby Homes and I would wish to give direct support to that area, that said I acknowledge the City wide net that is ‘Derby Homes’ and commit myself to maintaining and increasing standards of service whenever possible
