Bob worked within two major corporate businesses, Marks and Spencer plc and Coats Viyella plc, before starting his own international management consultancy and textile procurement businesses. He joined the Derby Homes Board in 2002 with the main aim of taking an active role in growing and securing the sustainability of social housing in Derby. Bob’s major aims are to ensure: • That affordable housing in Derby is sustainable so that all our tenants and leaseholders will be properly catered for in the years to come • That Derby homes is the best ALMO in the UK offering our Tenants incredible service and value for money • That we work effectively with all our partners to achieve outstanding outcomes that will enhance life within Derby • That our most vulnerable tenants needs are catered for • That the youngsters on our estates are taken seriously and given all the help available to make better lives for themselves.
