Ensures the proper financial operation of the organisation and oversees the internal and external audit processes.

Development & Regeneration Committee considers, and makes recommendations to the Board, proposals for new build, regeneration and redevelopment projects involving Derby Homes.

Reviews the governance of Derby Homes to ensure good governance that makes best use of the time, skills, experience and knowledge of Board Members.

Takes the lead on major decisions affecting housing management, maintenance and other customer services provided in the North of the City.

Takes the lead on major decisions affecting housing management, maintenance and other customer services provided in the South of the City.

Takes the governance lead and agrees actions on performance management in Derby Homes, covering all aspects of housing, maintenance and customer services delegated to the Board, Local Housing Boards, Committees and to staff.

Reviews, initiates research and makes recommendations to the Board on all financial and staffing performance issues and makes decisions on salary and remuneration issues.
